Orphan Black- Sarah Manning Inspired Makeup Look

Bestdayblogger Inspired Look

I’m obsessed with the show Orphan Black! If you don’t know what its about WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN! No just kidding. lol Here is more information on the show. http://orphanblack.space.ca/

I’m totally not into Science Fiction but this show and the Acting just grabs my attention and curiosity. It has me at the edge of my seat. The Acting is brilliant and I  think that Tatiana Maslany deserves an award for the many parts she plays. She is brilliant! I’m so inspired by her that I’ve decided to create a makeup look based on her character. I’m not her CLONE 😀 but I’m just trying to achieve the makeup look. I don’t have any pictures of her character because I don’t want to use photos that are not my own. Just Google Sarah Manning Orphan Black.

LINK—> GOOGLE

Description of Sarah’s Character: “Sarah Manning is a natural chameleon and drifter, and an outsider living on the fringes by her wits alone. A street-smart orphan with a reckless streak and a loyal heart, Sarah always puts her daughter Kira first. Sarah is thrust into the clone mystery after assuming the identity of valiant, damaged police officer Beth, discovering that she is one of several clone sisters born of a corporate eugenics project (Leda). Sarah and her newfound sisters Cosima, Helena, and Alison must fight tooth and nail to keep their family intact and safe from harm from various enemies, including new a new male breed of clones, the Castors.” – http://orphanblack.space.ca/

Now after reading a couple of Articles on her makeup look I decided to use products that were as close as possible to her look. A smokey eye, very simple and plain overall but yet strong and bold, fierce and sculpted.

Products Used

FOUNDATION:  Matte & Poreless Foundation from Maybelline

BRONZER: Annabelle Biggy Bronzer

EYELID PRIMER: I used two,

First I used ESSENCE eyeshadow base. Following I added Elf  Champagne eyelid primer.

I brought my eyebrows a bit closer because my eyebrows are further apart. This brings the focus on the eyes and gives definition.

EYEBROW PENCIL: I used Elizabeth Arden Brownette 03

EYESHADOW: I used this all over my eyelid and underneath the eye. Wet n Wild eyeshadow single in NUTTY.

I used eyeliner all around the eye and on the bottom waterline. I smoked it out a bit.

EYELINER: I used Essence Gel Eye Pencil 05 gun metal

MASCARA: I used Annabelle Mascara BIG SHOW

Sarah Manning’s Lips are very pale and plain. The top lip is thin while the bottom is bigger. Because my lips are small, I used Annabelle Stay Sharp Self Sharpening Waterproof Lip Liner in NUDE to shape the lips and make them look bigger. Then I added Wet n Wild Megaslicks Balm Stain in 129 Nudist Colony.

BLUSH: I used BH COSMETICS glamorous blush 10 color blush palette

I finished with Rimmel London Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed Powder.

Also Make Up For Ever Mist & Fix to keep my look fresh and to last all day.

So what do you think? Have you watched the show? If so, would you like to see another look from another Clone? They are all unique and amazing. I would LOVE to be on the show! Cast me Please! 😀
