COVERGIRL has come out with TOTAL TEASE! A new mascara that supposed to give you “FULL + LONG +REFINED” eyelashes. My first impressions are as follows: The packaging is lovely! Love the colour and the handle. It’s very unique. Very bold and beautiful!
When I opened it up I was like “Where are the bristles?” “How is this thing supposed to give me full long lashes? What is going on HERE! haha… In all seriousness though let me tell you and show you the results of this mascara. Is it worth it? should you buy it?
This is one of those wands that you have to blink down to get the product on the lashes. It also applies better when you put the wand to the base of your lashes and move the wand slowly back and forth and then up. Like a little wiggle.
It’s actually very frustrating because it is not your traditional wand. The traditional wands grab all the lashes and you don’t have to work hard at it. Where are the bristles? How can you expect anything to grab on to little bumps? Sorry but I have to be honest. I’m just not use to this minimalistic wand.
Besides working hard at it, the darn thing actually works! Yes I have to blink down to get the product and wiggle to and fro but it really lengthens my lashes! It also fans them out so nicely! It does clump my lashes a little but I really love the look that this formula and wand gives. I also like the tip of the wand.
So the tip on one side really helps do the lower lashes and also love how you can use that tip to do the outer and inner part of the lashes. Makes it great for the little areas.
A few other lovely Covergirl mascaras are the Katy Kat Eye and the So Lashy. Love them!
So my overall thoughts are that I have to work a little harder at putting the mascara on by blinking downwards and wiggling it to and fro at the base of the eyelashes. It clumps the lashes together if I add more then one coat. I had to apply 2 coats to really see thicker fuller lashes. But only one coat for my lashes to have length. I like the tip of the wand and like the overall results.
So would you buy this mascara? Let me know. I would probably go for the Katy Kat Eye mascara, especially that lovely blue! I love blue.
