Hello my lovely friends! I created this mouthwatering recipe and I’m so excited because you will go nuts for these nuts! Caramelized maple bacon bits and delicious pecans covered with just the right amount of spices. These are addictive and dangerously good! I hope you try this recipe out. Try to save some for the next day too. I totally doubt that you will. 😉
Ingredients
FOR THE BACON MIX YOU WILL NEED
1 Pack of Maple Bacon
1 Tbs Brown Sugar
1Tbs of Maple Syrup

FOR THE PECAN MIX YOU WILL NEED
2 Cups of Pecans
2 Tbs Brown sugar
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1/8 tsp cayenne pepper
1/4 tsp salt
1Tbs corn Syrup
Coarse salt to sprinkle at the end
You will also need parchment paper on a cookie tray and a frying pan.
INSTRUCTIONS
- Cut bacon in small pieces and fry them up until golden brown. Drain the fat and place bacon bits on paper towel. Keep that fat for another recipe! Bacon fat is so delicious. Place bacon back in the clean frying pan and add the brown sugar and maple syrup and cook for one minute until the sugar is melted. Set the bacon aside on parchment paper and let it cool. Bacon should be brown and not overcooked. It should still have a little softness to it. Don’t overcook the bacon.
2. In a clean frying pan toast the pecans. Not too long and don’t burn them.
3. When pecans are toasted add all the spices and sugar and the corn syrup.
4. Mix them together until everything looks nice and sticky. Take them off the heat and place them on the same parchment paper with the bacon. Mix the two together and sprinkle a little coarse salt on top while it’s still hot. Let this cool completely and enjoy! 🙂
*If you find the mix too soft you can set oven to 250 degrees and place the mix on a cookie sheet with parchment paper for 20-30 min.
I hope you try this recipe out.
Let me know if you do.
Have a beautiful Thanksgiving my wonderful friends.
Thank you all for being so kind and amazing.
Sending you all love and positivity.
GOD BLESS!
