Paint Party Friday! Moleskine Part 2

Hello and happy Friday my friends. I hope you are all well. How are you all feeling? I’m seeing the weather change very fast and the cold roll in. We’ve had rain and cool weather. I miss the way the sun hits all the autumn colours. I’ve been dedicating some time each day to paint in my book and I’ve tried not to be so uptight about things being “perfect” to just go with the flow more. Hope you are all well and thank you so much for all your love and comments. I’m linking up with Paint Party Friday and I hope you go check out all the other lovely artist as well. Have a beautiful Friday and a lovely weekend.

October Leaf Printing Paint Party Friday

Hello my friends and happy FRIYAY! I’m linking up with PAINT PARTY FRIDAY today and I wanted to say thank you to the lovely Eva and Kristin for Featuring me last Friday. I’m So grateful. Thank you very much from my heart. It means so much to me. It put a smile on my face and warmed my heart up.

Here is last Friday’s FEATURE.

So this week I sent my hubby out with the girls to pick various leaves for our family art time and they came back with beautiful assortment of leaves. Can you name a few? I think my favourite is the ginkgo leaf and the maple leaf. I do love Oak leaves but they didn’t pick any.

They are so lovely right? We then set out some paints, brushes, water and white paper and painted the leaves and pressed them on the paper. We also pressed the paper on top of the leaves. It’s always so nice to sit together and make art.

Little hands so very special, painting and pressing down leaves and paper and getting messy. So much fun. Here is what we came up with.

It’s so much fun and I truly hope you try this out. My girls and I had a lovely time creating these pieces and I can’t wait to make more prints. Maybe this weekend we can try leaf rubbings! 😁

I hope you enjoyed my post and I truly hope you try creating art with leaves. Have a beautiful weekend and thank you for reading my blog post.

Painting Pumpkins! Paint Party Friday

Happy Friday! I’m linking up with Paint Party Friday today and I’m very excited to share today’s post with you.

My family and I went to the garden centre to check out all the Autumn bouquets and flowers and we also chose little pumpkins to paint. I thought it would be a fantastic idea for my girls to get creative. The garden centre has so many beautiful flowers and arrangements this month.

This is the first time that we actually painted pumpkins! It was so much fun. Usually we do the traditional carving pumpkins but this time I said “Lets paint pumpkins!” Trying something new is fun. We decided to buy white mini pumpkins and we spent two days painting them. It was so much fun!

The black and orange dot pumpkin is mine and the blue ghost pumpkin is my 7 year old’s.
The pink and black are my pumpkins.
My 12 year old made this pumpkin. She is not finished as you can see she has so much detail and various patterns and colours. I’m so in love with her pumpkin that I want to buy a fake one and have her paint it so I can keep it for ever. It’s beautiful! 😍
The red and black was made by my 7 year old. She said she wanted it to look scary.

So that was our excursion to the Garden Centre and our painting pumpkins for two days. It was so much fun that I’m going to continue making crafts with the girls. They had so much fun and really enjoyed it. I hope you all had a lovely week my friends. Thanks so much for all your comments and for being here. Have a beautiful Friday and a beautiful weekend.
