APRIL and MAY FAVOURITES! 2017

Happy Tuesday! I’m very happy to bring you my April & May Favourites and this will be the last favourites blog post for the time being. I’m very excited to share things that I’ve been madly in love with in April and continue to love in May. I will start with Netflix and TV.

I started watching Vampire Diaries on Netflix again. I just LOVE it so much. Obsessed with the show. I’m also really blown away by The Handmaid’s Tale on the BRAVO Channel. It’s a very powerful story and it was the first novel that I ever read in grade 9 from start to finish. Just warning it can be dark and disturbing. Currently i’m also watching Pretty Little Liars. So far it’s really intense. I’ll be so sad when it’s all over.

In April I had the loveliest opportunity to visit BITE Beauty Lab in Toronto. It was so much fun. I had the greatest experience with other beautiful bloggers. I loved the process and creating my own personalized lip colours and flavours was incredible fun.

I’ve been really loving AVON TRUE COLOUR Eyebrow pencil in Brunette. This pencil works so nicely and also blends smoothly. It is also the same colour as my eyebrows so it looks natural. Love it! Smooth, soft and creamy.

I love using this Burberry lip colour contour No.3 Medium as a primer and base to my nude lipsticks. It’s really lovely and feels so nice on the lips. I absolutely LOVE Marcelle Waterproof Gentle Make-up remover pads. They are perfect in every way. They take away my eye makeup so well and I can’t live without them. What I love about these is that they really eliminate the amount of rubbing around the eye area. I don’t even have to rub back and forth. I just place the pad on the eye for a minute and swipe the makeup away. Love them!

I highly recommend you check out Make Up For Ever HD pressed powder. My skin looks and feels really amazing when I use this powder. It takes away the shine. When I use this pressed powder my skin looks even. I Love it and highly recommend it. I love the results it gives and my makeup lasts longer.

The best highlighter I have ever used. Burberry’s Fresh Glow highlighter in Pink Pearl is beyond beautiful. I absolutely love it! What I love about it is that it isn’t glittery. Chanel’s New Summer Collection is perfection! Chanel never fails in anything they come out with. I really love how this powder makes my complexion look. This is the Healthy glow luminous colour in Light. It gives a beautiful glow to my face and warmth. Love the way it looks and feels. I love using this. Truly beautiful for the summer. Love the glow and warmth!

I’ve been really enjoying wearing Maybelline 830 Truffle Tease. Totally lovely! It is very creamy and moisturizing. A beautiful everyday nude colour.

One nail polish that I can’t stay away from is this beautiful light peachy colour by CHANEL. It’s the perfect summer colour. I love it and I use only one coat. It’s the 560 Coquilage. I absolultey love CHANEL’S Summer Collection. Have a look if you like.

I’ve been loving AVON makeup. Love the eyeshadow palette Havana Sol Mojitos by the sea and the blush called sun and sand. Truly beautiful and I love the amazing quality of AVON Mark makeup. Very lovely!

Skincare by AVON is incredible. The ANEW line is wonderful and I highly recommend this specific cream for neck and chest. This is the ANEW PLATINUM FIRM AND SCULPT CREAM for the neck and chest area. It is an anti-aging cream. I absolutely recommend you try this cream. It really works amazingly and I’m seeing fantastic results. It is very nourishing and hydrating. Love it! Get Summer Ready! I’ve been loving showering with Le Petit Marseillais. They smell so good, clean really well and leave my skin feeling soft and hydrated. Love these body washes and my favourite ones are the Orange Blossom and the Cotton Milk and Poppy.

I also must add a favourite post! I worked super hard for the COVERGIRL Post. if you like have a look. I really love the post because it challenged me with with three makeup looks and I feel the post was a great integrated piece with TV, Comic Books and Makeup. What do you think? BITE Beauty Lip Lab Par-Tay! WARNING This post includes hot lipsticks!

Had the lovely pleasure of joining three amazing bloggers at the Bite Beauty Lab and I had the most incredible adventure! I’m truly excited to share my experience with you and would like to say a huge thank you to Cat Forsley for organizing the entire Par-tey!

The lab is located on 678 Queen St West and I was present with the lovely Stashy, Grieta and Cat. Walking into the lab was a wonderful feeling because the colours and simplicity give an incredible ambience! Love the modern feel of the place and the simplicity. The place has a very sophisticated feel but the amazing people that work there like Austen and Jen make the place very down to earth and cozy. They are very sweet and amazing lip lab artists. Jen worked with Stashy and I and Austen worked with Cat and Grieta. I had tons of fun creating my lipsticks but also it was fun to see how the other ladies created theirs. The evening started with the doors closing! Yes a private shindig! We had the BESPOKE EXPERIENCE! So exciting and fun! We had lovely wine served and it was so delicious but I promise you that didn’t’ affect the colour choices that I made. LOL

The first thing they had us do is take off the lipstick that we were wearing and gave us the incredible and yummy AGAVE SUGAR LIP SCRUB. It was so amazing and made my lips smooth and soft. I need to buy some of that good stuff!

This enzymatic sugar lip scrub includes brown sugar and pineapple enzymes to reveal the feeling of soft and smooth lips. Apply the lip scrub in a circular motion, then add water directly to lips to create a cleansing milky emulsion. Rinse excess sugar with a soft towel. -BITE BEAUTY

Next thing they gave us to apply all over our lips is the AGAVE LIP BALM. The lip balm is so soothing and conditioning. I absolutely love it! Also need this in my life!

Now to the extreme fun part! Choosing the colours and flavours!

I really love the colours of Autumn so I wanted an orange/red and I also love a good nude colour and wanted a nude that I can wear everyday that has a mauve feel to it. I also wanted my lipsticks to be matte. I find the Matte lipsticks by Bite are not drying at all and I love the feel of them because they are so creamy and soft. My lip lab artist Jen was really amazing and helped me out so much. She was incredible with mixing and blending and adjusted my lipsticks to the colours I wanted. She really customized the colours to my liking. I also knew right away what scent/flavours I wanted for my lipsticks. I wanted the orange/red lipstick to be cherry flavour and the mauve/nude lipstick to be a vanilla/coconut flavour.

The Orange/red lipstick is Cherry flavoured and is called Autumnal Equinox. The nude/mauve tone lipstick is called Bella and the flavour is vanilla/coconut.

I adore my colours, formula and flavours. I also love the packaging the lid is magnetic! They are matte and smooth on the outside. The formula of the lipsticks are so soft and creamy and feel so amazing on the lips. Incredible!

Overall my experience was amazing and I totally recommend you check out BITE BEAUTY LAB. It was an incredible event with wonderful ladies and I wanted to say a huge thank you to Cat Forsley for organizing this event. #TheLipPencil By Bite Beauty -REVIEW

This is a review for Bite Beauty the lip pencils. I kindly received two pencils for review purposes. I also received two samples of the AMUSE BOUCHE lipsticks in the colours Whiskey and Honeycomb that match the pencils perfectly. I’m truly grateful that I received these from Influenster. The lip pencils are in the colours 020 ( pink nude colour) and 044 ( close to a Burgundy colour). I absolutely love the formula of the pencils. They are creamy, smooth, soft and long lasting. They don’t dry the lips and they are also easy to sharpen. I kindly received a Sephora sharpener and I absolutely love it! This is the first time trying Bite Beauty Lip Pencils and the lipsticks and I love them!

Here I’m waring the 020 Lip Liner and the Bite Beauty Amuse Bouche Lipstick in the colour Honeycomb. I love this combo. It helps define my lips and gives them fullness. I absolutely love the formula. It is soft and smooth on the lips and did I mention nice and creamy? Love it!

This combo is the lip pencil 044 and the lipstick colour Whiskey. I absolutely love a nice dark lippy. I love this combo. Again the lip pencil and lipstick are the perfect match. I love the formula and totally recommend them.

BITE Beauty Matte Crème Lip Crayon REVIEW #TheMatteCremeLip

I was kindly sent the BITE Beauty Matte Creme Lip Crayons for review purposes and I’m so grateful and very excited because this is the first time trying BITE Beauty products. I’m so pleased to tell you that this has been generously given by Influenster. Influenster is a wonderful site filled with amazing reviews and a place to ask questions about certain products. I joined Influenster in 2013! I’ve since received a few beautiful items to review and I’m truly grateful because I really love reviews. So lets talk about the BITE Beauty Matte Creme Lip Crayons shall we?

The packaging feels not too heavy and not too light. The outside feels rubbery and matte. They are long and smooth. The bottom portion is coloured the same as the lip crayon. Each crayon has the print BITE on the outside.

Influenster kindly sent me Red Velvet, Cava and Glace. They twist perfectly and the formula is very smooth and creamy. Not slimy or heavy. Not moist but smooth and soft. A very light weight formula that has perfect pigmentation and doesn’t dry the lips at all. Also the formula doesn’t stain the lips and is long lasting. I’m absolutely loving my Bite Beauty Matte Creme Lip Crayons and I love all three colours.
