From the moment I started blogging I’ve come across beautiful and inspirational people that I love and adore. I’ve mentioned many in my blog posts before and this month on my blog I would like to share more lovely artists and feature them. You can see many of these lovely inspirational people all around me all the time because they are the ones that leave the positive comments and share my posts and interact with me. I’m truly blessed. I really enjoy working with others!

So Belinda mentioned TRIBES in her newsletter and right away I remembered teachers College and fell in love with the idea all over again. A community where people help people and learn from each other. A place where we can be our true selves and inspire each other. Reminds me a lot of the Canadian Beauty Bloggers. I’m grateful for being a part of the CBB because I’ve gotten to know a lot of strong women in the group that truly inspire me. So thank you to the CBB team for being there for me. This is starting to feel like a huge THANK YOU blog post! Why not! I’m totally GRATEFUL and High on LIFE!! WOO HOO!

Sometimes it can be hard to be a blogger and influenster. I’m being honest here. Sometimes I need a little push to move forward. Well lately connecting with bloggers has been that wonderful push forward. I feel so strong and more confident when I work with other lovely bloggers. I love interaction and communication. Working together is so important. That being said I wanted to let you know that starting now until further notice I’m going to pin a tweet on twitter and feature a lovely YouTuber, Vlogger, blogger or artist for each month because I feel we should help each other grow.

Sometimes I feel that people don’t do this enough. It’s so important to help each other, promote each other and grow together. Sometimes I feel that people lead a self centred life. Life is so much more beautiful when it’s done together. It is more creative, fun and there’s a give and take of positivity and good energy. More can be accomplished and achieved together and it’s so fulfilling!

Like I mentioned in my post New Exciting Additions! Cat is a huge motivator and she seriously needs to become a motivational speaker or write a book or something because she is a GIVER! She is very special. There are GIVERS in this world and there are TAKERS and CAT is a really amazing giver! She has helped me and pushed me to take risks and move forward. I believe in what ever you put out in the Universe it will come back to you and it will ripple and grow big. This I believe a lot. Positive vibes and thoughts create positive things in life. The Body Shop – Colour Crush

I really wanted to write this post because I don’t think I’ve ever created a makeup look with The Body Shop makeup before. The Canadian Beauty bloggers pick a beauty brand each month and bloggers write a review or create a makeup look for a selective brand. This month it’s THE BODY SHOP! I know I’m a little late, but better late then never I say! 😉

I’ve decided to have a little fun and participate! I feel that the Body Shop is known for skincare products and not so much for makeup but I’m here to tell you that the makeup is really amazing! I absolutely love the makeup line and really want to purchase more.

Here is the makeup look that I created.

I used the lovely grey all over the eyelid and also above the crease line. I then used the 101 golden girl on top of the eyelid. The lipstick 03 Pink Charming, is a really soft pink and I feel would look great on any skin tone. The formula of the lipstick is amazing and very hydrating and moisturizing. The eyeshadows can be used wet or dry and are also great in pigmentation. I feel this makeup look is nice and light and perfect for back to work or back to school.

SWATCHES

My overall thoughts of the products are that they are really affordable and very great in formula and pigmentation. I really love the colours together and they apply very nicely and smoothly. The lipstick is so nice on the lips and very soft and creamy. I definitely love the Body Shop Colour Crush makeup and I want to try more. Have you tried any of the makeup from The Body Shop? REVIEW

Over the weekend I used the Clearly Sheer Coppertone Spray. It mists very lightly and doesn’t drip or feel greasy. It doesn’t stain my clothing and It distributes evenly. I really love the formula because it is lightweight. It is also fast and easy to use. The Clearly Sheer by Coppertone is what I’ll be using this summer because it has UVA/UVB protection. It is very crucial that I protect my skin from the sun. I don’t recommend spraying the face though because you are inhaling the product. I just use the spray for the body. For the face use the Clearly Sheer Face because the face formula will not clog pores and will not cause breakout. The formula is also very moisturizing and keeps the skin very smooth. It is water resistant up to 80 minutes. Perfect for swimming and for your summer vacation.

In the package there’s forty wax strips and 4 wipes. The oil formula in the wipes is really nice. You use the wipes after you wax to soothe the skin. The instructions are easy to use and the strips are easy to peel and apply.

Everybody is so different when it comes to hair growth and some people have thicker hair some people have thinner hair. Some people have coarse and some people have sparse hair. That being said I feel that I have a lot of hair but that’s not what my aesthetician tells me. She said I actually have less then others. So we are all different and It’s okay to have hair. I’ve been waxing for many years so the application and use is super easy to me. I feel that this kit is really great but for me it would take more then one package to do everything and it is time consuming. The kit works great though. I really like how simple and easy it is to use.

If you have never waxed before I would recommend going to a professional first. Then when you get a few hairs growing back I would use the strips. These would also be great to take on vacation and to have when you don’t have time to go to an aesthetician.

I usually get professionally waxed and when some hairs come back I use the Nair Wax strips for this reason. I will definitely buy these strips to have as a back up for minor hair growth. They are easy to use and simple. They really work.
