Joe Fresh Makeup – Review

I can’t believe another month has gone by. Thank you so much to the Canadian Beauty Bloggers for the lovely twitter party they had last month. Because of them I had the opportunity to try on Joe Fresh Cosmetics and I’m here to bring you a little review. In the video I forgot to mention the lip cream but I will show you pictures and talk about it. I’ve really fallen in love with Joe Fresh cosmetics. They are really great beauty products and I adore the colours and formula of each piece.

I kindly won a lip cream, a mascara, a highlighter, a blush and a liquid eyeliner. The Joe Fresh Lip Creme in Rose is the most beautiful rose colour and I adore it. It feels really great on the lips and it is non drying. It keeps them hydrated and feels really good on the lips. Not sticky at all. I’ve been loving rose colours lately. You truly need this in your life!

The blush stick in the colour Radiant Rosette is so soft and pretty. I adore the colour and I’ve been using it a lot this month. I’m sure it will be in my May Favourites. I apply the stick at the apples of my cheeks and then use my finger and dab up and out. When I use a brush I apply the stick on the apples of my cheeks and then I take a brush and gently move it in small swirls up and out. The blush is so beautiful in colour and feels light, smooth and creamy.

The highlighter in the colour champagne is really lovely and not too glittery. I love it because it is smooth, soft and goes on really nicely and evenly. It looks really natural and gives a beautiful glow. Absolutely stunning!

This Joe Fresh mascara is the Hydra Lash and it’s made with Argon oil. It really keeps the lashes feel soft and not hard and crunchy. I love how it doesn’t clump and really elongates and gives thickness and volume to my lashes. I really love it.

The liquid matte eyeliner is amazing! It is really easy to work with and I really love the fine tip. The formula stays on without smudging and smearing. Very long lasting. It can truly withstand hot weather. Exactly what I need this summer!

Overall the Joe Fresh products are incredible and feel really great on the skin. I highly recommend them because each product has great formula with the perfect pigmentation. They last long and when it’s time to take my makeup off it is easy and simple. I’m truly impressed by Joe Fresh. So happy they are now in Shoppers Drug Mart.

Hello my lovely friends! I hope you are all well and enjoying this beautiful hot weather. I’m here to share with you some beautiful JOE FRESH cosmetics that I kindly won from a twitter party that the Canadian Beauty Bloggers hosted with Shoppers Drug Mart and Joe Fresh.

I kindly received the prettiest highlighter in the colour ‘Champagne’ a pretty blush in the the colour ‘Radiant Rosette’ a beautiful Matte Liquid eyeliner and a Mascara in Black. I’ll be reviewing these lovely products and creating a summer look very soon. The shades look so beautiful and exactly what I like. I love rose colours and I love that the mascara has Argan oil to help the lashes. The eyeliner tip is very fine and the highlighter is so radiant. The blush reminds me of a pretty pink macaron! I’ll swatch them up soon!

Each product is unique and beautiful and focuses on hydration and care for the skin in the most natural and nourishing way. Let me show you each one and I’ll discuss the ingredients and benefits of each. I will also include my review for each product as well.

*Soothing facial mask (Lemon Balm, Honey and Plantain)

About the product

These 100% natural facial masks blend hand-picked botanicals, with benefits of traditional plant lore backed by science. In a small bowl, mix 1 Tbsp with just enough water to make a smooth paste. Apply evenly over skin and relax while the mask dries. Rinse with water, gently towel dry, and finish with Floral Water Skin Tonic.

Ingredients: finely ground Canadian oats, kaolin clay, lemon balm leaf, honey, plantain leaf, neem leaf, marshmallow root.

The Soothing lemon balm, honey and plantain face mask is so gentle and leaves the skin feeling really clean and soft. It was easy to mix and use and very simple to apply. As I sat in a hot bath with the lavender bath fizzer, I really loved having the face mask on. Very soothing and relaxing. The formula doesn’t have a strong scent and it is very gentle. I love how natural this product is and it truly works. I really recommend this mask. If you’ve never tried a mask before you should start with this one because it is natural and gentle on the skin. If you love masks and use them often you will love the *Soothing facial mask (Lemon Balm, Honey and Plantain).

*Veranda – Lemon verbena & thyme (SQUARE BAR SOAP)

A tribute to summer afternoons spent lingering in the shade of painted porches, the Veranda collection blends the joyful summer scent of lemon verbena with essential oil distilled from the hand-picked leaves and flowers of sweet white thyme.

Ingredients: sodium olivate, sodium cocoate, sodium palmate, litsea cubeba essential oil, thymus vulgaris essential oil, lippia citriodora (lemon verbena) leaf.

Ah! Summer incapsulated in a soap bar! This smells like lemon fields and sunshine! I adore this soap and it is so invigorating and refreshing. It really heightens and soothes the senses. The formula of the soap is fantastic and gentle. The natural ingredients really make the skin soft and very clean. There’s no residue and the only thing left after using this bar is a great scented and nourished skin. I highly recommend Pearl & Daisy soap bars. They are amazing and work so beautifully. Did you read my first review of the Orange Bath bomb from Pearl & Daisy? In my first review I express a huge excitement and enthusiasm for these bath bombs because to be honest they are the best ones that I’ve ever used. The previous bath bomb felt like I was bathing in pool of creamsicle heaven! Truly scrumptious! The Lavender bath bomb was like floating in a field of lavender and sleeping quietly and soothingly in la-la land.

I’ve never used a body balm like this before! At first I thought it was a deodorant. When I read ‘body balm’ and ‘lavender’ I got all excited because the application process is so unique and I love it! No need to get my hands dirty! I used this right out of the shower and I’m absolutely in love with this body balm. Obsessed! It is very hydrating and nourishing for the skin. The lavender scent really helps with sleep too. It is so soothing, creamy and soft. Glides on like silk on the skin and is so comforting and beautiful. It’s not greasy and smells divine!

*Orange Beep Lip Balm

Overall I’m really satisfied with every product mentioned in this post. I love how Pearl & Daisy make products that truly nourish and care for the skin. It makes me feel good to use products that are good and healthy for my skin. I also love how the products make me feel. They relax me and also clean the skin really well. I love the lovely ingredients and the packaging as well. Overall I’m happy and my skin feels wonderful. I also feel wonderful because the products have helped with my stress and the lavender has helped me sleep better. Very soothing to the soul.

I kindly received a beautiful exfoliating bar and a luxurious body moisturizer and I’m very excited to share my experience with you. I adore both products and I highly recommend them. They are made in Canada and are handmade with love. The products are all natural and have beautiful ingredients that are great for the skin.

A beautiful handcrafted cold processed method is used to create all “Nature’s Pure Bliss” Artisan Exfoliating Soaps. The Soaps are all moisturizing and natural. They are vegan, palm-oil free and scented with essential oils. The Blend is 100% Coconut Oil infused with Coconut Milk, shredded Loofah, Volcanic Rock (fine) and Essential Oil blends. The Caffeinator which I kindly received to review, has Fair Trade Coffee, Dead sea Mineral, Fair Trade Coffee Grounds, Mentha arvensis leaf (peppermint) oil, Citrus paradise (grapefruit) peel oil, Citrus Latifolia Tanaka (lime) oil.

I’ve never used an exfoliating bar before and I have to say that if you want to exfoliate and get rid of dead skin off your body this will definitely do the trick. It smells amazing and it really got rid of all the dead skin on my body. It is a fantastic exfoliating soap. My body has never felt so soft before. You don’t need to press hard when using this bar because of the shredded loofah and coffee grounds. You just need to glide it gently on the skin with water and it will take off all dead skin. If feels really good to use the Caffeinator Exfoliating Soap.

TIPS: Do not use on face. Do not let soap bar sit in water after using it. Use a holder that lets the water drain off. This way the soap doesn’t melt.

This is a beautiful creamy quench body moisturizer that really nourishes dry skin. It has vitamin rich formula infused with matcha, mango seed butter and organic shea butter. INGREDIENTS

In a blender add:

2 Cups of Almond Milk (or milk of your choice)

1 Tbs. of Skinny & Co. Coconut Oil

1/2 Vanilla Pod. ( Use the seeds only. Not the outside of the Vanilla pod.)

1 Tbs. of Honey or Maple Syrup

1/2 tsp. Cinnamon Powder

1 Tbsp. Organic Chia Seeds ( I use PRANA)

1 Tbsp. Hemp Hearts (I use Manitoba Harvest Hemp Hearts)

Blend and enjoy!

NOTE:

*you can use 1 cup Almond Milk and 1 Cup Coffee instead of 2 cups of almond milk.

*You can also add 1 banana or 1 cup pineapple if you like or any other tropical fruit.

*you don’t have to use chia seeds or hemp hearts.
