Best Chilli Recipe for Fall

That’s what my hubby said. “It’s the best Chilli recipe you’ve ever made.” This of course makes me so happy. I really love when my family enjoys my food. I’m also happy because I saved the recipe! Usually I just go with the flow and toss ingredients in the pot but I measured and I’m here to share this recipe with you. I hope you try it out. This recipe is especially amazing with French fries. Enjoy!

Fall Chilli 

Ingredients

3 cups of ground beef

1 Yellow Onion chopped

1 Cup celery chopped

1 Cup Carrots chopped

4 Garlic Cloves finely chopped

3 tbs olive oil 

1 tsp dry parsley

2 All Spice balls

1 Bay Leaf 

1 tsp Salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1tsp garlic powder

1 veg cube with 1 cup hot water

1/4 tsp coriander

1 tsp paprika not hot

1/4 tsp cayenne pepper hot

1/4 tsp cumin 

1 can kidney beans

1tbs Worcestershire sauce

1/4 cup tomato paste 

Instructions 

  1. Chop up onion, celery, carrots garlic.
  2. In one cup of hot water add a veg cube with the tomato paste and Worcestershire sauce. Mix. 
  3. In a pot add the olive oil and the onions and on medium heat fry them followed by the garlic and beef for 5 min.
  4. Add the veggies cook for another 5 min. 
  5. Add all the spices followed by the chicken stock and tomato paste. 
  6. Cook for 15-20 min on low heat.  

This chilli is fabulous with French fries! Enjoy!

Crock-Pot Hot Chilli! -Recipe 

bestdayblogger blogpost header  Did someone say HOT?  If the cold gets under your skin this will warm you up for sure! Set all the ingredients in the morning and by the time you come home your house will smell delicious and you will have a hot cozy chilli that will give you comfort.  I also froze half of mine for another day! Did you know you can freeze chilli? It saves you time and let me tell you this is one hot delicious dish!

INGREDIENTS  & INSTRUCTIONS


 In your Crock Pot add 

3 Cups of cooked ground beef. This should be seasoned with salt and pepper. Also drain the fat.

1 Cup Cubed Carrots

1 Cup Celery

1/4 tsp Liquid Smoke Flavour

1 Bay Leaf

1 Allspice ball

4 Garlic Cloves

*3 Green Chopped Finger Hot Chilies (You can just add 1 for less heat and also you can add RED chillies instead of GREEN)

1 Can of washed Kidney Beans

1 Can of washed Black Beans

1tbs sugar

1/4 cup ketchup

1tbs vinegar

1/4 tsp garlic salt

1/4 cup olive oil

1 tbs taco seasoning

1tbs oregano

1 can (156 ml)  tomato paste

4 Cups water or ( 2 cups water  & 2 cups beer)

1/4 tsp ginger powder

1 tsp dried mint

1 tsp salt

1 tsp pepper

1tbs paprika (not spicy)

1/4 tsp cinnamon

Cook on low heat for 6 hours.
