Available in ultra-shine vinyl black and 14 other intense, pure saturated, matte, or shimmering shades. This key range of effect is possible thanks to a customized porous felt-tip applicator developed to let mother-of-pearl shine. Creativity no longer has limits. The Artistic Director chose not one, but eight star shades, as he wanted the colour range to be an unlimited experience. His highly colourful selection includes Vinul Black 096, Matte White 001, Matte Pink 851, Matte pop Green 461, Pearly Turquoise 351, Matte Red 861, Matte Pop Blue 261, and Matte Yellow 541.

Pressurized bottle with a simple squeeze of the flexible elastomer tube, the high-density Diorshow Pump ‘N’ Volume Formula is fluidified, loading the wand with exactly the right amount of product. Just squeeze once or twice to pump up the volume without clumping. There are four essential limited edition neon shades in Purple Pump 160, Blue Pump 260, Coral Pump 640, and pink pump 840. Waterproof mascara that combines extreme volume with waterproof wear. Extreme volume and staying power!

Any combination is possible. you can apply black at the lash line and add a touch of colour at the lash tips, but you could also apply black on the upper lashes and pink, for example, on the lower lashes. – Peter Philips

DIORSHOW BROW INK $34.00

This is my absolute favourite brow product. It stays on all day and night through the hottest weather. I tried it and it doesn’t budge. This ink is intense and natural looking. It has a long lasting finish and it dyes the skin beneath the brows. It is rich formula with high-intensity pigments. The applicator is bevelled and lets you precisely define brows and make it easy to fill bare spots. The ink formula is rich in waterproof polymers, ensuring a 36 hour impeccable finish that doesn’t move or fade, yet wipes off easily with makeup remover. Available in three shades. Dior Ready to Wear Spring-Summer 2018 Collection Show took place on Tuesday September 26th, 2017 at the Musée Rodin, Paris 7e. The Creative and Image Director for Dior, Peter Philips, created a natural make-up look focusing on the eyes.

“Maria Grazia Chiurl’s collection pays tribute to Niki de Saint-Phalle, who had close ties to the House of Dior in the 1960s-70s. The radiant beauty of this great artist inspired a fresh and modern make-up look. “I wanted, in particular, to accentuate the eyes, in a very spontaneous way, giving the impression of a young girls who had applied her own make-up.”

MAKE-UP FOR THE READY-TO-WEAR COLLECTION

EYES

“The eyes are very expressive here” States Peter Philips. “I wanted to give them a slight sixties feel without going for a completely retro effect. I chose to really load the eyelashes while leaving them at a natural length. First I applied a coat of DIORSHOW MAXIMIZER 3D, followed by 5 or 6 generous coats of black DIORSHOW PUMP ’N’ Volume.

These very thick lashes, top and bottom are ultra made-up, but they’re not aiming for a perfect result. Some of the are clumped together, like when a young girls puts her make-up on a bit too quickly.” He adds: “Top emphasize the youthful aspect, I also drew a line of Diorshow Khol Black Khol 099 on the waterline of the lower eyelid and slightly accentuated eyebrows with Diorshow Bold Brow and Diorshow Brow Styler.”

Complexion

Peter Philips explains: “ The complexion looks even and fresh, and is neither too shiny nor too powdered. I obtained this balance by starting with Diorskin Forever & Ever wear primer. New I applied the new Dior Forever Undercover Foundation which provides adjustable cover while looking very natural. Its new water-based texture means I can adjust the make-up to each skin type.

I continued with a few corrective touches of Deerskin Undercover Concealer, and lastly I ratified everything with a very light veil of Deerskin Forever & ever Control Loose powder.

Lips

“Lips go a natural look, prepared with Lips Sugar Scrub then barely heightened with on of the 4 Dior Lip Glow Shades that best matched the model’s skin tone”

Nails

Nails were natural.

Hair

Styled by Guido Palau, hair was given a sixties twist. Section were drawn back from the forehead and held in place at the back of the head with two hair slides. The hair then left loose and wavy.

APRIL and MAY FAVOURITES! 2017

Happy Tuesday! I’m very happy to bring you my April & May Favourites and this will be the last favourites blog post for the time being. I’m very excited to share things that I’ve been madly in love with in April and continue to love in May. I will start with Netflix and TV.

I started watching Vampire Diaries on Netflix again. I just LOVE it so much. Obsessed with the show. I’m also really blown away by The Handmaid’s Tale on the BRAVO Channel. It’s a very powerful story and it was the first novel that I ever read in grade 9 from start to finish. Just warning it can be dark and disturbing. Currently i’m also watching Pretty Little Liars. So far it’s really intense. I’ll be so sad when it’s all over.

In April I had the loveliest opportunity to visit BITE Beauty Lab in Toronto. It was so much fun. I had the greatest experience with other beautiful bloggers. I loved the process and creating my own personalized lip colours and flavours was incredible fun.

I’ve been really loving AVON TRUE COLOUR Eyebrow pencil in Brunette. This pencil works so nicely and also blends smoothly. It is also the same colour as my eyebrows so it looks natural. Love it! Smooth, soft and creamy.

I love using this Burberry lip colour contour No.3 Medium as a primer and base to my nude lipsticks. It’s really lovely and feels so nice on the lips. I absolutely LOVE Marcelle Waterproof Gentle Make-up remover pads. They are perfect in every way. They take away my eye makeup so well and I can’t live without them. What I love about these is that they really eliminate the amount of rubbing around the eye area. I don’t even have to rub back and forth. I just place the pad on the eye for a minute and swipe the makeup away. Love them!

The best highlighter I have ever used. Burberry’s Fresh Glow highlighter in Pink Pearl is beyond beautiful. I absolutely love it! What I love about it is that it isn’t glittery. Chanel’s New Summer Collection is perfection! Chanel never fails in anything they come out with. I really love how this powder makes my complexion look. This is the Healthy glow luminous colour in Light. It gives a beautiful glow to my face and warmth. Love the way it looks and feels. I love using this. Truly beautiful for the summer. Love the glow and warmth!

I’ve been really enjoying wearing Maybelline 830 Truffle Tease. Totally lovely! It is very creamy and moisturizing. A beautiful everyday nude colour.

One nail polish that I can’t stay away from is this beautiful light peachy colour by CHANEL. It’s the perfect summer colour. I love it and I use only one coat. It’s the 560 Coquilage. I absolultey love CHANEL’S Summer Collection. Have a look if you like.

I’ve been loving AVON makeup. Love the eyeshadow palette Havana Sol Mojitos by the sea and the blush called sun and sand. Truly beautiful and I love the amazing quality of AVON Mark makeup. Very lovely!

Skincare by AVON is incredible. The ANEW line is wonderful and I highly recommend this specific cream for neck and chest. This is the ANEW PLATINUM FIRM AND SCULPT CREAM for the neck and chest area. It is an anti-aging cream. I absolutely recommend you try this cream. It really works amazingly and I’m seeing fantastic results. It is very nourishing and hydrating. Love it! Get Summer Ready! I’ve been loving showering with Le Petit Marseillais. They smell so good, clean really well and leave my skin feeling soft and hydrated. Love these body washes and my favourite ones are the Orange Blossom and the Cotton Milk and Poppy.

I really love the post because it challenged me with with three makeup looks and I feel the post was a great integrated piece with TV, Comic Books and Makeup. What do you think? DIOR Electrify Eyeshadow Palette & DIORSHOW Pump ‘N’ Volume FEATURE

DARE TO SHOW OFF YOUR EYES! -DIOR

Everything is PERFECT when it comes to DIOR. I’m madly in love with the palette 357 Electrify and the DiorShow Pump ‘N’ Volume mascara. These two pieces are a part of my April Favourites 2017. Stay tuned for the blog post and video coming soon. This palette is everything to me this summer. I love the shades and the pigmentation is incredible. The mascara is fantastic and the formula perfect as it doesn’t clump but it gives volume and length.

Inspired by what is seen backstage and on the catwalks, Dior is moving in an even more audacious direction with eye makeup. Under the watchful eye of peter Philips, creative and image Director for Dior Makeup, lashes are dressed in excess volume and eyes are electrified. -DIOR

Let me give you a closer look at this delicious palette. My favourite colours are the peach, bright blue and the light champagne. I love them so much. The eyeshadows apply so nicely and blend really easily. I love the rich and beautiful colours. The colours bring so much focus to the eye and the formula shines so nicely. It feels amazing to have these colours on my eyelids because they are very summery and fresh!

I absolutely love this palette. I love how the eyeshadow shines when it’s on my eyelids. So incredible. It illuminates! I also love the contrast between cool and warm tones. Do you?

Here I’m wearing the peach tone on the crease and the light blue and mint at the top of my eyelid. I also added the light champagne colour on the brow bone and used it as a highlighter. I added a little dark blue on the bottom and smoked it out a bit. The possibilities are endless with this palette. You can mix and match the colours anyway you like! On my lips is the Dior Lip Lacquer in the colour 344 Rolling. This is a beautiful summer look. I love the blue and peach so much. Do you?

This is an incredible mascara. It makes my eyelashes fuller and longer. It gives them amazing volume and now I can see why they call it Pump and Volume. I absolutely love the formula and the wand. Very nice and easy to apply. Love the rubber tube. It allows easy grip for the product and makes it nice to hold.

The mascara has “The bounce effect: from brush to lash. A flexible tube combines with a bounce-effect brush containing two types of material: a rigid wand ensuring stable and precise application, and flexible spikes for ever-so gentle lash application. My two summer companions! I love them both so much and feel they are perfect for summer. The mascara DIORSHOW PUMP’N’VOLUME is fantastic! I’m in love with it and highly recommend it. The palette is so stunning and I love the warm and cool tones mixed together. Absolutely fabulous set! This is perfection!
