September Gratitude

Dear September, thank you for all the little special details in my life. I like to look at small things and truly appreciate them. I really appreciate even the silence that comes my way. Some people don’t like silence but I really appreciate it. It’s soothing.

I love Autumn, the trees are already starting to change colour. I love Chrysanthemums. Everything around me has beauty. What plants do you like?

I’m a huge collector of Fall magazines. I love them so much. Do you like magazines? I enjoy the articles, pictures and recipes. I love to feel the pages in my hand rather then digital magazines. How about you?

I’m staying hydrated. Very important with the weather changing. I love this water bottle. This is my daughter’s water bottle. We bought this from Kitchen Stuff Plus. (My daughter dropped it and the lid broke. Unfortunately.) Sometimes things happen. It’s okay. Moving forward.

I’ve been enjoying using new lunch containers for my girls. They love them so much. They are from Amazon.ca and they are called easylunchboxes.com

Holiday Season, Life Update and Gift Ideas!

It’s the most beautiful time of the year! Everything around this time is so magical and beautiful. I adore all the beauty of the Christmas Holidays. The stores are all decorated and look so pretty with lights. People are nicer during the Holidays don’t you think? Happy thoughts and love is in the air! My plans for this holiday is to hopefully be able to do VLOGMAS on my Vlog Channel and document everyday in December. I also would like to create content for the beauty Channel. I’ve taken a little break from it but I’m going to plan a video each week starting next week. I’ll be filming my October Favourites and also a Trying on Benefit Cosmetics video which I’m super excited about.

I’m going to be honest and say I haven’t started decorating or shopping for Christmas. Not sure when I will start but hopefully I can plan to buy gifts a little at a time so that gift buying doesn’t become overwhelming. I have many lovely items on my wish list. I would LOVE the NAUGHTY AND NICE MAGIC BOX BEAUTY ADVENT CALENDAR by Charlotte Tilbury, the LIPPIE COUNTDOWN ADVENT CALENDAR by NYX cosmetics, I love and dream of having the The Diptyque calendar one day. Why does it have to be SO Expensive! I would love the Lush and Body Shop beauty Calendars as well.

Overall I love the formula of each product. I find the cleanser deep cleans and doesn’t dry the skin. The toner really firms and tones. The cream is super hydrating and the scent is calming and relaxing. The oil is soothing and nourishing. I feel this kit would make the perfect gift for the holidays. It comes with a beautiful lined canvas makeup bag that is light and beautiful.

Raspberrymint Beautifully Handcrafted Hydrating Skincare – REVIEW

This winter all my skin really needs is a lot of oil. Winter really dehydrates my skin and there is nothing worse then dry, uncomfortable, itchy skin. I kindly received a few beautiful all natural oils over the Holidays to review. I’m so happy I did because they are really lovely. I really enjoy using raspberrymint products especially the bubble gum body oil, the passionfruit lip balm, the blended aromatherapy energize babe peppermint oil and the headache and cold stick oil.

BODY OIL – BUBBLEGUM

The bubble gum body oil is really amazing and smells fun and delicious. I love how hydrating it is. The formula is light, absorbs really well and it is very soothing. The Bubble gum body oil has organic coconut and grapeseed oil. It really hydrates and nourishes my skin. I absolutely love it! I also add a little in my bath. It smells so delightful and very sweet.

All Natural Lip Balm

(Passion fruit)

I love a good lip balm and I’m all for natural when it comes to lip balms because my lips really benefit from natural ingredients. This lip balm is truly soft and light. Perfectly hydrates and moisturizes my lips without making my lips feel heavy. I absolutely love the feeling of this lip balm on my lips. I really love the formula and how it applies. It goes on smoothly, gentle and feels very soft. I love the scent and how nourishing the ingredients are. I enjoy the feeling of this formula and my lips have never been softer!

The Headache & Cold Stick

Ingredients list: lavender essential oil, peppermint eucalyptus oil, eucalyptus essential oil, lemon essential oil, grapeseed oil, coconut oil.

This oil really helped soothe my senses during the time I was sick. I was sick most of December and was taking medication. When I’m sick I get really stressed and this oil really helped relax me and lessened my tensions. It also helped soothe my head aches and helped with my breathing from my terrible cold and cough.
