Happy August! I’m super excited for August are you? Last month was INCREDIBLE! I travelled all over Toronto with my girls. Check out my travel posts if you like.
We had so much fun at the AGO and ROM. Totally fun!
This month I plan to go a few more places before school starts. It’s a lot of work to take the girls on day trips but totally exciting and so worth it. Last week I took them to the Toronto Public Library and made Library cards for them. They loved it there! They looked around played with hands on activities and found some fun books. The library is new and beautiful and we really love it. We also took a little walk around Scarborough Civic Centre. It’s really lovely area. We bought some food and drinks at the mall and we sat outside to eat. A beautiful summer day!
It was a wonderful adventure in our own neighbourhood. We really enjoyed our day trip and I look forward to more fun trips this month. I’m hoping to go to the science centre, the aquarium and the CNE. I also would like to go down to the beach and hopefully travel to Niagara on the Lake.
On our trip I carried my LeSportSac Backpack. I won it on IG and I absolutely love it! It’s been amazing to have it around this summer. I love how light the material is and yet so strong. Amazing! It is definitely one of my favourites for July. You can see the bag in my VLOG when we went to the ROM. Have a look if you like. ROM VLOG.

Before I get started I want to share with you my Pre-Party Favourites. In the video I’m wearing a few items that I’ve recently been enjoying and some of them I received from a little giveaway that the lovely Canadian Beauty Bloggers hosted on twitter. I’m truly grateful.
Here are the lovely Pre-Party Showcase items that I love. I’m Absolutely loving the *Covergirl Trunaked Goldens Eyeshadow Palette. It is a beautiful, pigmented and lovely palette. The formula is amazing and it applies smoothly and blends nicely. On my lips I’m wearing Clarins Lip perfecting base. This really helps make the lipstick look perfect on the lips. The lip perfecting base fills in the cracks on the lips and at the same time gives moisture and hydration. I’ve lined my lips with *Annabelle cosmetics self sharpening pencil in Glam Red and used *Covergirl lipstick in the colour 295 Succulent Cherry. It is the most perfect red. Not too bright and not too dark. Looks really lovely and feels great too.
I decided to do something different this time because I wanted something new. I love change. I’m one to go from long hair to short hair in no time! I usually have my hair down and decided to take the hair off my face and give it volume with COLAB . I adore this scent. I think this is my favourite one so far its the ‘The New York Fruity Fragrance’ I adore it and it gives my hair volume. So I fluffed it up on the top and held it together with Pantene airspray that’s a level two. It holds AMAZING! for a level two it held my hair in place and I love it! I can’t imagine what level 5 would do.
Last week I bought Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser and I love it! It works amazing and I’m so happy this works for me because I have big pores on and around my nose. I also received *Covergirl Plumpify Mascara and I like it. It really gets all the little hairs and actually curls the ends of my eyelashes. It has a plastic applicator tip and it feels different then the traditional one but I like it! I also use the the Elf Face Whip formula for highlighting. I love this formula. It is so nice and easy to put on. I just take my finger and dab, dab, dab. Really fast and easy. Last but not least with the Pre-Party favourites I used Milani blush in 08 Sweet Rose. Really pretty blush and I love anything rose!

*Nature’s Pure Bliss
Nature’s Bliss products are all natural and really nourishing. They smell and feel really good on the skin. The Caffeinator Exfoliating bar is fantastic and exfoliates so well! The Quench Moisturizer hydrates the skin right away without being greasy and sticky. I absolutely recommend Nature’s Pure Bliss skincare products. If you are looking for all natural products Nature’s Pure Bliss is perfection!
Pearl & Daisy Soap Company is truly incredible. The Sea Salts are like no other salts I’ve ever tried. The wild rose and lavender is heavenly! The Orange blitz Bath Bomb is the best bath bomb I’ve ever tried! I’m in love with it and I truly recommend it! You have to try the bath bomb in that Orange scent. It is AMAZING!
These liquid eyeliners from Annabelle Cosmetics are truly beautiful! The application is simple and easy and the pigmentation is amazing. I love the formula because they are not sticky and because they are pigmented and long lasting.
*TRESemme Shampoo, Conditioner and Polishing Complex
I was kindly sent this and I really enjoyed using this trio. It is amazing overall and cleaned my hair really well. It was not heavy on my hair. The products create shine and sleekness. However it did not give my hair a lot of volume. It did an amazing job at cleaning my hair from all build up and it also made my hair look really nice and shiny. I really love the 3rd step in this trio because it made my hair shine and feel good. I also really like how the shampoo smells. Like I said in my review it smells like green apples. Overall I would totally buy these again.
I adore these Lip Lacquers. The formula is lovely. They are very hydrating, non sticky and pigmentation is amazing. They are long lasting and very pretty. Affordable too! These colours are all so beautiful and perfect for Spring.
I won this beautiful Body Oil from ZAYA on IG and I’m so grateful that I did. If you love grapefruit like I do this is totally for you. This body oil is so nourishing. Its amazing and I adore applying it all over my body. The oil makes my skin feel luxurious and silky. The Soap smells so delicious and lathers up beautifully! I highly recommend them and they have other beautiful oils available. I’m truly grateful for winning this duo. Thank you to ZAYA so much!
I won this on IG and I’m truly grateful that I did because both of my girls suffer from very very dry skin. I’ve tried a few creams but each time I put cream on them they complain that the cream stings. But not with Skinfix Baby Lotion! This cream is perfection! My daughters don’t complain anymore and this works perfectly. It hydrates, moisturizes and it is perfume free and all natural. I love this cream and I will be buying this again. Truly wonderful!
