Happy September! I’m starting this month off with some lovely makeup! How exciting right? I haven’t worn makeup all Summer. I think only a couple of times. I’m happy to be back with some happy makeup posts and share my swatches and thoughts with you.
I was kindly sent some AVON PR and I really want to share them with you. I really like these products and feel that they are so good and affordable.
These are Mattitude Soft Matte Liquid Lipsticks that are 4ml and $15.00 each. The formula is so amazing. I really love how light this formula is and also very pigmented. These definitely feel weightless and they are also paraben-, sulphate-, and phthalate-free. I love the positive and strong names that they’ve been given. There are 8 shades but I’m sharing four with you today. These have a very light nice scent but it doesn’t linger after you have it on. This formula is also long lasting.
Which colour is your favourite? Which one do you think looks best on me? I love Resolute and Devoted the best. Avon also has Resilient a dark blackberry colour, Relentless a bold red colour, Persistent a dark raspberry colour and Tenacious a dark wine colour. These are now available to order online. Introducing Glimmershadow! These are easy to apply and very buildable. they are two formulas, one is shimmery and one is glittery. The glitter formula has small flakes of glitter in it. I love the way they are soft and pretty. The glitter reflects light so nicely. The formula is soft and not gritty at all. I like the Shimmer formula as well because its soft and smooth and applies really nicely on the eyelid.
Silky, Lightweight water-infused butter base blends easily and dries down smoothly. Paraben-free. These are available in a shimmer and glitter finish. $10.00 each.
Metallic Liners are so soft and glide on nicely. 10 hours of shimmery colour and long-wearing. Retractable and waterproof. 0.28g $9.00 each. I just adore these three colours for fall. These are the colours of fall right here. I Love them so much.

Happy Tuesday! I feel very unorganized and very emotional lately. I’m also feeling tired a lot and the winter blues is not fun to deal with. Yesterday my emotions had a life of their own and my body went into a pain attack in the middle of the night. I’m just happy it’s a new day. I’m trying to stay active and positive…trying. Lately I’m not feeling it. I’m being honest. It’s not easy to stay cheerful and happy and jolly. I feel like an old grumpy lady. *Sigh* The stress of working online and being home all day doesn’t help the situation.
Thank God for my wonderful husband and children who love and support me. They are amazing and I’m truly blessed to have them in my life. They really help bring joy and happiness in my life.
This is Toronto and its winter glory. I wonder why my parents didn’t choose to go to a warmer climate when they first arrived in the 60’s?
To offer comfort to my stress levels and anxiety I’m doing a lot of painting lately. Here are some new paintings I made. Using acrylics on canvas boards and also mini canvases. I need to buy better quality mini canvases for my ETSY store. I bought three mini canvases from Walmart and they are not good at all. The canvas from the edges are coming a part. I glued them in place but it’s not the best quality so I will not be posting these for my store.
I’ve made an order with DeSerres and I’m still waiting for my package to arrive. Why is it when you wait for something it doesn’t come? I ordered some new style of paint. It’s called Gouach paint. I’m really excited to try a new medium. Gouache paint is a watercolour type of paint that is bold and bright. It can be watered down a lot or be used very boldly. I can’t wait to try it. I also want to buy pastels. Love oil pastels and chalk pastels.
I can’t wait for spring to arrive. How about you? I am soooo done with cold and winter. On a positive note here are some lovely PR Samples (GIFTED) items and some lovely winnings as well. I also won two products from Age Quencher Vitamins and I am really loving their Hyaluronic Moisturizing Serum and the Hydrate Beauty Electrolyte Powder. So incredible they will definitely be on my favourite list.

I also received beautiful clothing from FROCKON Clothing. I reached out to the lovely Yana and asked if she would like to work together. I absolutely love it! I will get a post together soon my friends. I just need to get out of this funk.

I’ve been so busy with the kids. I’ve been trying to entertain them and keep them active. So far the summer has been very good. I’m enjoying every minute. Not every moment is perfect. Life is not perfect. This summer has and continues to test my patience. Not only from my children but from people all around me. Waiting in line, more people at the malls and sometimes the HEAT. Heat is not my favourite thing. Loud noises everywhere and no calmness. Always on the go and no time for my self. As I’m writing this I have anxiety that my children are going to call me. Even on the toilet they call me! lol Seriously?I love them to bits, don’t get me wrong but are any other parents feeling this right now?
The kids keep me young!
Watched Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation at Scarborough Town Centre. The hot popcorn was delicious. We had fun and I can’t wait to see Incredibles 2 and also Winnie the Poo!! When is that one coming out? I’m a kid at heart.
Yesterday I decided to have them do nothing. I didn’t take them anywhere and they found this strange. lol omg so funny to even write this out. So they did a little painting and are watching YouTube. They are obsessed with SQUISHY videos. Squishies are very addictive I must add. I love them too.
I know this won’t last for ever and that’s why I’m shifting my thoughts to be positive and trying really hard to stay calm and collected. July has been eventful. Hot sun, fun fairs and swimming. Visits to the mall for overpriced ice cream and treats.

Gardening and flowers
I’m lost in the summer adventures and don’t have a list to follow. Who does? Lists don’t work very well with #MOMLIFE do they? If so please let me know what your trick is. The girls and I made a fun bucket list. We have many things to complete. I’m not in a rush though. I don’t want to stress.
This summer feels different than last summer. I’ll be honest and tell you that this summer feels a little more down for me. I guess because some of life’s stresses are effecting me. My mind is my enemy and stress is not good at all for my health. I’m trying to figure things out and I know it will be okay.
We went to a fair. It was lovely but not as good as the CNE. I can’t wait for the CNE!
This day was so hot we all ended up dehydrated and sunburned. But it was fun.
I lost my sunglasses and right after the fair I rushed to find another pair.
So overall things have been lovely. The weather has calmed down and there is no extreme heat warming which is good. I would like to get more organized…at least try. I’m behind on my favourites. Forgive me. I’m hoping to travel around Ontario. Trying to. It’s hard for my husband to find time especially with construction around the house. *Sigh*Â Â I’ll be okay. Things will work out.

I’m a HUGE adidas fan. I’ve been loving and obsessed with my forest green hoodie and my new Adidas originals Superstar Shoes. I love them so much. I’ve wanted them for the longest time. I bought both of these from the new Adidas shop in Scarborough Town Centre.
How do you like my new hair colour? Do you like blond on me? I’m not sure how I feel about the hair colour. I’m missing my copper hair colour and I might just go back to it. Let me know in the comments if you like it. My daughters say they love it.
The weather has been incredible and I’m very excited for this month. How about you? Las month I went to the Toronto Zoo last with my daughter’s class and fell in love with this butterfly. It’s so beautiful don’t you think?
