When Life gives you lemons you squeeze them and make lemonade! Or something like that. Well I was hoping to take a vacation this summer but life happens. SO change of plans! Just going to stick around Toronto and vlog my summer! 🙂 All is good though. I’m very excited actually. Even though I’m dying to see the ocean and smell it and touch it and feel it….LOL I’m okay and the lake will do for now.

I’m very happy that the weather is so nice and everything is green and beautiful! I’ve been preparing my feet and my legs for the nice weather. I’m very self-conscious about my legs and having two children my body has changed quite a bit. I am torn inside by the stretch marks and the weight gain. Let’s talk HAIR! Let me say there is nothing wrong with body hair. I just prefer not to have any. I like smooth silky skin. I use to wax but it is too expensive and hurts like hell. So I use Avon’s Hair removal creams and also the Shaving gel as well. I love this line. It’s fast and easy and it’s great for sensitive skin!

My feet have been cooped up with socks all winter long and now I’ve got them looking and feeling amazing with AVON’s Soothe & Smooth Foot works. Summer has arrived and I’m very excited! I don’t sun bathe so my legs are always white. I avoid wearing short skirts and shorts because of how white my legs are. I would like to have a little more sun kissed look this summer but not be exposed to sun. I like to be bronze and not orange. Some self tanners smell funny and make my skin orange. Thank goodness for good bronzers like CLARINS self tanning milky lotion. It gives a natural sun kissed look! It is seriously great and I’m here to show you how great it is.

A light, milky texture that glides over the skin making application easy and creating an even tone. It is quickly absorbed, leaving the skin feeling comfortable, supple and soft. You can use Clarins self tanning milky lotion for the face and body. I tried this without exfoliating and I must tell you it works so much better if you exfoliate and apply moisturizer prior to putting on the self tanner. It will go on more smoothly and evenly. Also this Self Tanning Milky lotion is white in colour and goes on clear so you can’t really tell where you’ve put it on. When I exfoliate and apply moisturizer prior to putting on the self tanner it isn’t a problem that the lotion is clear. Everything goes on smoothly and evenly distributed. I will also say that I really like the scent. It doesn’t smell like a tanner. I usually apply the Clarins self tanning milky lotion in the evening, after I take a shower. That way when I wake up I’m all bronzed and ready!

GIVES SKIN A NATURAL, EVEN AND RADIANT TAN. The Self Tanning Milky-Lotion combines two natural sugars derived from biotechnology: DHA and Erythrulose.

Here are some important tips to remember!

Tip 1 : Exfoliate!

Prepare the skin beforehand by carrying out a thorough exfoliation of the face and body. Concentrate on elbows and knees. Once exfoliated, the skin is prepared to better absorb Self Tanning Milky-Lotion.

For the face

Exfoliating Body Scrub for Smooth Skin.

Tip 2 : Moisturize for beautiful skin! Morning and evening, hydrate the skin with your regular body lotion. Your tan will look even more radiant and will last longer.

Tip 3 : Apply your product correctly!

Place product in the palm of your hands. Hold hands flat and smooth over dry skin with light, sweeping movements. Avoid the eyebrows and hairline. Renew application until the desired tanned colour is achieved then reapply on a regular basis to maintain results.

Tip 4 : Avoid streaking! After each use, wash your hands well with soap.

Wait a few minutes before getting dressed.

Warning: this product does not contain sun filters and does not protect against sunburn. Repeated sun exposure without protection can increase the risk of skin ageing, skin cancer and other damage, even without sunburn.

This is my arm before applying Clarins Self Tanning Milky Lotion on.

This is the day after applying the lotion. I applied it at night and woke up to a nice sun kissed bronzy tone. It’s not too dark which I like. If I want to go darker I just repeat the steps that I did the night before and build on the colour. Just letting you know I work the lotion on my skin until my skin really absorbs it and this doesn’t stain pillows or sheets. Also the next day it didn’t stain my clothing either. I’m very pleased and happy with Clarins self tanning milky lotion.
