I am very excited to be writing on this blog again. I’m managing two blogs at the moment. I love it.

The Beautiful Fantastic and Bestdayblogger.com

I hope you are all well. I moved to PEI! We moved here in September and then got hit by Fiona. It was so scary but we made it through with little damage to the house. It has been a lovely change moving from a busy crazy congested city life to a rural calm and relaxing lifestyle. It’s a true blessing and I am so happy. I have uploaded updated posts if you like to read more about my move to this beautiful and lovely island. Moving Blog Post, Autumn in PEI, Focus on Joy and Love.

I wanted to let you know that I have uploaded my photography and artwork to Red Bubble and I am very happy to share my artwork. It brings me joy. What brings you joy?

I will be filming VLOGMAS on my Youtube Channel so please subscribe.

Wishing you a beautiful and wonderful November! See you for Vlogmas on my Youtube Channel! Much love and positivity!

Dear January…

I poured a lot of creativity into the pages of my sketchbooks and notebooks. I avoided any physical exercise. I know I said I would do yoga but I’m not into it. Just not feeling motivated. As we move into February the sun helps brighten my spirit.

I’ve been writing poetry. I’ve been sharing my poems on IG. @bestdayblogger because I don’t have my computer to upload and edit my vlogs as much I’m spending time on Instagram Reels and IGTV. This year is my first time using those features. It’s fun.

I created a video for my Art Book Flip Trough.

I created a video of my tea collection. I’ve been into a lot of tea drinking lately.

Reading art and writing is how I’ve been spending my creative time. The rest of the time I’m doing laundry, washing dishes and cooking. It gets dark at 5:30 and I hate it. I feel tired and want to sleep a lot but can’t.

Currently reading Alice Hoffman’s Magic Lessons.

I am really enjoying this book.

I completed A Poem For Every Winter Day. A very lovely collection of poetry.

Art in my Moleskine Artbook. I completed my first book. I didn’t use both sides of the pages.

The moon was so beautiful in January.

As for beauty I haven’t put any makeup on. I only use skincare products. Clarins, Pixi Beauty Skincare and Avon Skincare. I will be doing a full skincare winter routine post soon.

That is all for this month. Art, writing, tea drinking and reading. Taking care of the house chores and cooking. Feeding, bathing and taking care of my girls. Taking care of my self also.

I watched a Netflix movie in January. I LOVED IT. It is called Penguin Bloom with Naomi Watts. Based on a true story. It was amazing! You must watch it.

This month’s favourite snacks are chocolate and popcorn. 🍿

I’m also loving my new fountain pen. It’s really beautiful. I received this as a Christmas gift from my wonderful husband. I also completed my Tea Pigs advent calendar and loved opening a tea everyday. It was amazing trying different flavours of teas. Tea Pigs is great!

So goodbye January 2021! I enjoyed each moment and cried many nights missing my father and thinking about him. I had a few sleepless nights. Puffy eyes and bags under my eyes. It is hard. Flashbacks from the final hours with my father come to me all the time and I just start crying. I know the good memories will float above the sad ones one day. Until then I light my candle everyday and pray.

I hope you are all well my friends. Take good care of your selves and your family during these hard times. Spend your time doing things you love and things that bring you joy.

Thank you all and have a beautiful weekend.

Much love and positivity.

Hello September! πŸ‚ 🍁 πŸƒ

Dear Sunflower,

I thought you wouldn’t make it but here you are, opening up your petals and facing the sun. I admire your beauty and elegance.

Sunflower opened its petals
one day to another
facing the sun with love.

I’ve been in a creative mode. Trying to keep busy and creative this month. I’m trying to write as many posts that I can for October. It’s challenging but fun. I’ve been reading, writing and drawing. I’ve been enjoying writing in my journal with a new fountain pen! It’s a lovely gift from my husband and I love it so much. ❀️ We went on a couple of road trips in Ontario. First stop was in Perth.

Perth, Ontario 2020

Perth is a lovely little place and I recommend visiting in the Fall. 🍁 A cute little town with a beautiful park and river and shops. Also really cute Book Stores and a huge vintage shop. I only went for the day and I wish I had stayed for the weekend. A lovely place and the park is so stunning.

I also visited The Big Apple in Colborne Ontario and bought incredible pies and apple bread. We bought pecan pie, apple caramel crumble pie, apple maple pie and apple bread. So delicious! The best pies that I’ve ever tasted. I recommend you go first thing when they open because it gets very very busy at lunch.

I’ve also visited a couple of Vintage shops. Vintage shops make me happy. It’s like an adventure and traveling back in time. One vintage shop in Perth Ontario and the other in Colborne Ontario. If you walk into a small town vintage shop you can tell a lot about the History of the town. Very beautiful in my opinion. So many stories in each piece. In the Perth vintage shop I found this lovely candle stick holder. I was looking for something like this and there it was!

When I was in Colborne Ontario I visited a vintage shop and found a very old book that’s a childhood favourite: Heidi by Johanna Spyri. The cover of the book has fallen off and the book is very fragile. I opened up the book to a random page and this is where it landed…

Sometimes things happen for a reason. I believe it. ❀️ Everything in good time.

The book broke from the spine and broke in half to pg.112-113. The passage speaks to me in so many ways. ❀️ I believe that this is a sign from the Universe. Do you believe in Signs?

I won a bunch of books and popcorn last month. I’m so grateful! The popcorn 🍿 didn’t last long. πŸ˜‹ Thank you to @bookbrunch and @eatableinc on Instagram for the lovely books and popcorn.

I kindly won the book Heatwave written by Kate Riordan from @ohthebooksshewillread & @GrandcentralPub. Also about 7 weeks ago I won The Lions Den written by Katherine St. John from Jennifer Bairos on IG @jennbairos. I would like to say a HUGE thank you to all these lovely book loving people for the wins. I’m truly blessed and lucky. Thank you.

I bought new reading glasses. They are my favourite. I like a big frame. They are simple and lovely. I do have to go back and have them adjust my prescription though. They made them too strong and I get really bad migraines.

Thank you all so much for reading my post. I hope you have a beautiful September and I wish you all the best. Positivity, kindness and love. God bless!

Dear February…

Where did you go?

Fast and very cold

Snow

I kept busy with the kids, lunches, laundry, cooking, cleaning and doctors appointments.

Even though February was cold and long

I kept busy and

I did a lot of art and uploaded to my Etsy Shop.

I also received beautiful loving gifts from my husband. Flowers and Chocolates. He is very romantic. ❀️

Grateful for my health results

A lot of PA Days

The month ended with more doctor appointments.

I feel that February was testy and a little tedious to me.

I was a little irritated with social media. I focused on things that I enjoy and that make me happy. I’m so grateful for everything that I went through in February and I’m also glad the month is over.

I’m happy March is here and I look forward to Spring. How about you? How was your month? I hope you are all well and happy.

Thank you for reading my post.

Much love and happiness to you all.

Thank you.
