Today I’m very excited to share four new oils from the makers of Bio-Oil. I adore Lipidol oils and I feel that they are truly hydrating and nourishing for the skin.  The collection is available in Canada, exclusively at Walmart and  Walmart.ca.

Today I’ll be reviewing four Lipidol Oils: (Lipidol Overnight Face Oil , Lipidol Cleansing face Oil,  Lipidol Cleansing Body Oil and finally the Lipidol After shower oil.)  Lipidol is the new skincare that is perfect to clean, hydrate and nourish my skin. I feel this is the right time after a long hot summer to put the hydration back into my skin, prepare my skin for fall and keep it hydrated all winter long! This is the great thing about Lipidol oils, they keep your skin hydrated anytime and any season!

Oil is an excellent medium for skincare. The outermost layer of the skin is a protective oily layer-the lipid layer. Its purpose is to hold moisture in the skin, an important function because moisture facilitates enzyme activity, which in turn support healthy, radiant skin. –Lipidol

The oils come in plastic containers and are very durable. I love the packaging and they are very easy to use. The packaging and size of each bottle is perfect. A little goes a long way with these oils and  I really love the simplicity of the of each bottle and the colours. Now let me talk about each one and share with you the amazing benefits of the formula.

LIPIDOL OVERNIGHT FACE OIL

Lipidol Overnight Face Oil 50ml. Supplements the skin’s natural oily layer stripped away by daily exposure to the elements. Apply to face before going to sleep. Fragranced with Ylang-Ylang and Black Pepper essential oils. Suitable for sensitive skin, non-comedogenic. -Lipidol

The overnight face oil is really beautiful, smooth and silky. It is light and absorbs so nicely on the skin. It doesn’t clog the pores and I really love how soft and hydrated my skin feels in the morning. I really love the scent of Ylan-Ylang in the overnight face oil. It is so soothing and relaxing. The Lipidol overnight face oil really makes my skin glow and my face feels soft, silky and hydrated.

Don’t underestimate the importance of nighttime skincare ritual-overnight is when the body heals itself. during the day, the skin’s natural oily layer is stripped aways by exposure to the elements. LIPIDOL CLEANSING FACE OIL

Removes dirt and make-up without stripping the skin’s natural oily layer. Lightly fragranced with Rosemary and Niaouli essential oils. Non-comedogenic and suitable for sensitive skin. -Lipidol

I apply the gentle cleansing oil to my dry face and all the dirt and makeup binds with the oil. I add a little water and continue to massage as the oil emulsifies and forms a watery cream that rinses off very easily. What I love about this oil is that it works really well to take off all the dirt and makeup and I love how it really emulsifies and leaves the skin soft, smooth and clean. This oil is perfect for sensitive skin as the ingredients are non irritating and very gentle.

LIPIDOL CLEANSING BODY OIL

Washes away dirt without stripping the skin’s natural oily layer, leaving skin smooth and soft. Lightly fragranced with Lime essential oil. Non-Comedogenic and suitable for sensitive skin. -Lipidol

I really love how when I apply this oil to my  wet skin it emulsifies. It rinses easily away and I am left with soft, silky and hydrated skin. The scent is really lovely and very gentle. I usually get rashes from shaving my legs but I find using the Lipidol body oil before and after I shave my legs I don’t get a rash! Leaves my skin smooth, soft, silky and hydrated without irritations.

LIPIDOL AFTER SHOWER OIL

I really adore this after shower oil. It doesn’t have a scent at all actually. It says it is lightly fragranced but I don’t smell anything which is okay with me. I love how soft and beautiful Lipidol after shower oil makes my skin. I really adore the soft and silky feeling of the oil gliding on the skin. The results are amazing and I highly recommend this oil. It absorbs nicely leaving my skin soft and smooth.

My overall thoughts for Lipidol is that the oils really help with hydrating my skin. I love how Lipidol helps alleviate dry patches, leaves my skin feeling soft, moisturized and absorbs perfectly without clogging the pores. The scent of each oil is nice and light, natural and very pleasant. The oils are super easy to use and a little goes a long way. I highly recommend Lipidol and I’m definitely buying these beautiful skincare oils again.
