Hello my friends and happy FRIYAY! I’m linking up with PAINT PARTY FRIDAY today and I wanted to say thank you to the lovely Eva and Kristin for Featuring me last Friday. I’m So grateful. Thank you very much from my heart. It means so much to me. It put a smile on my face and warmed my heart up.
Here is last Friday’s FEATURE.
So this week I sent my hubby out with the girls to pick various leaves for our family art time and they came back with beautiful assortment of leaves. Can you name a few? I think my favourite is the ginkgo leaf and the maple leaf. I do love Oak leaves but they didn’t pick any.

They are so lovely right? We then set out some paints, brushes, water and white paper and painted the leaves and pressed them on the paper. We also pressed the paper on top of the leaves. It’s always so nice to sit together and make art.

Little hands so very special, painting and pressing down leaves and paper and getting messy. So much fun. Here is what we came up with.

It’s so much fun and I truly hope you try this out. My girls and I had a lovely time creating these pieces and I can’t wait to make more prints. Maybe this weekend we can try leaf rubbings! 😁

I hope you enjoyed my post and I truly hope you try creating art with leaves. Have a beautiful weekend and thank you for reading my blog post.

Hi Maria 🙂 You have brought back some memories for me! I used to use leaves to paint when I was a kid…I need to do that again, I remember how much fun it was! You all created some pretty prints! I love oak leaves too, but maples are my favourite! 🙂 Happy PPF! 🙂

I’m so happy to see parents doing things together with kids. Too many are slaves of mobile phones/tablets etc. Reading/playing/creating etc. are vitamins for kids!
Have a good week ahead!

How cute!! We used to do leaf rubbings when I was little but we didn’t paint them. We’d lay paper on top of the leaf then rub over it with a pencil. I love the idea of painting! So pretty!
