As I sit in my little office, I have a candle lit and I’m playing Autumn music on my phone. Soft autumnal music is so soothing. It’s dark outside, clouds have gathered and the cool Fall air is refreshing. I’m feeling good. I feel very positive and happy.

I’m really excited to share with you that I’ve opened up my Etsy Store. I look forward to sharing my Original pieces with the world. It’s a beautiful feeling. I love painting so much and I just want to keep making more. Check out my Celebration post if you like: Huge News! It’s a Celebration!.

I’ve been making a lot of Abstract pieces lately. I’ve been inspired by nature and Autumn. I’m going with the flow of my emotions and feelings.

Autumn
Wasps all around me and I move swiftly.
Walking along the Toronto streets,
September,
The kids are back in school and the city is busy and buzzing with noise and laughter.
Golden hues on the leaves,
Burnt orange and red.
Less sun and cool evenings.
Stores are decorated and filled with autumnal decorations.
Pumpkins and fresh apples, squash and turnips.
Spices on sale! Cardamom! Cinnamon and Star anise!
Chai latte? Yes please!
September is the month of change,
The top of the trees start to lose their green colour but the sun is still warm.
Birds and squirrels are out gathering and hiding nuts to prepare for the winter.
